Lancer
Keeping the skies of the Commonwealth clear.
This is from the same timeline / universe as the dragoon, the Lancer is a bi-plane fighter plane of the Commonwealth of dominions and draws a lot of influence from the spitfire.
The Commonwealth of dominions follows a timeline where groups such as the Levellers gained more influence within the republic following the civil war leading to a more stable government and so preventing the ‘Restoration’.
The body mesh of the Lancer is where most of the effort for this project went into, with the materials being simple one offs or modified versions of exiting materials from previous projects.
To try and create something that would look accurate I made use of several schematics and plans of spitfires (and other plane(s)), setting them to background images when modelling different parts of the body.
