Rail Pistol (EM Gun)
Pacify up to seven ruffians and/or scoundrels
This is a hand held seven shooter rail gun for the discerning gentleman or woman . . . err gentleperson, well not so gentle I mean it’s for shooting things . . . ok a discerning person.
The bullets contain four inner sections which contain two types of chemical which when combined will ignite, said mixing is achieved by a small explosive in the middle of these four sections detonating on impact. The metal ring around the bullet is used to acceleratethe bullet along the gun barrel by means of each ring on the barrel being activated in sequence.
The gun is powered by a tubular battery that fits into a container just below the barrel at the front of the gun, and also powers the rotation of the magazine (which contains the seven bullets).
The little screen just below the magazine case shows how much charge the gun has remaining and the gun itself is fired by pressing the red button on top of the handle.
For when a weaponised Tesla coil just doesn’t cut it
This was created as part of a re-work piece but i thought it would also be quite good as an image for a steampunk poster.
The pistol is meant to be a handheld rail gun, using magnetic coils to accelerate the bullets.
